I haven't gone to yoga since last Sunday. At first, I had other things on my mind, and then I staerted feeling sick. Friday was the worst sick day, but today I felt pretty good. So, I headed down for the 10 thirty class, even though I prefer the 9 o'clock one (I overslept. The teacher is better,t hough, and I like the harder level).

I get down there, and start having a panic attack. My chest starts hurting and I start sweating and I couldn't breathe. In my defense, the Sunday class is majorly crowded and the studio is small. I hate that.

So, I'm going to my absolutely favorite class on Monday night. There's like 2 to 3 people there, the teacher is fantastic, and I always leave feeling good. Then I'll hit a Sunday class so when I go see the relatives on Thursday, I'm relatively calm.

I hope.

Who has a panic attack going to yoga? Christ.

The first (and only) time I tried to do yoga, I hypervintilated, blacked out, fell down a flight of stairs, and just about broke my nose. I think I'm the world's only person to end up with a literal permanent scar from yoga.

So, in short, it could be worse.

Oy. Sorry to hear about this, Sera. Panic attacks seem to come out of nowhere. The mind/body connection can be so odd sometimes.
