Sick today

I'm sick today. I'm not suer with what. Someone at school said stress, and she's probably right. I think I'm also really dehydrated, though. I stopped being able to eat last night around dinner time, and wasn't drinking to help make the icky feeling go away. Then, around one, I woke up having a hot flash (damn, those things hurt!). I felt like my skin was being pricked by a thousand tiny metal hooks that were tugging at me. My stomach started really going, and i was terrified I'd throw up. Probalby, had I actually gotten up and gone into the bathroom, I eventually would have, but I didn't. Instead, I spent the rest of the night getting short cat-naps and then waking up feeling as if I were dying.

I got up and tried to eat. I couldn't. Food just didn't want to go down. I finally called for a sub, but then had to trek down to school because SOME TEACHERs never gave me lesson plans on Friday so my plans weren't fleshed out. Lucikly, my class goes to library and computer on monday, so the sub has an hour break, and Anne left me movies to show the kids. All i had to do was photocopy and lay out things for the first hour and a half. And, since all the kids need work on commas, that's mostly what they'll do. That and work on their book reports.

I acm home, crasehd for an hour, and now am trying to force liquisd down. The more I drink, the better I feel. I also go chicken soup, (which helps with dehydration) and popsicles. Sadly, they have sugar in them, but it's better than nothing.

I have no idea how this happened or why I feel so aweful. I will not miss school tomorrow. I bought stomach stuff (anti-nasuea) for tomorrow just in case. Until then, I'm going to rest.

Oy! I hope you feel better soon. There is nothing worse than nausea. Nothing. Well, except for maybe being on fire. Yeah, that'd probably be worse. Still...get better soon.
