I had a great day today with

garryowen. I got to see her puggle and her two adorable kitties. Now I *really* want a kitten, especially since Shana is ignoring me right now. Dumb cat.

garryowen and I saw Sky Captain. I really like that movie, and I love how slashy it is. I'm not as interested in reading the fic as I thought it would be, but it still was cool to see.

I still haven't heard back from the belly dancing place. I guess I'll have to call tomorrow to get details. I'm not going to rush out and buy anything for it, even though there are things you need. A veil and finger symbols and stuff. I don't know if I'm going to like it or not.

I also found a website called Match up or something. Meet up? I don't know. Anyway, I Googled "book club" because I'd really like to meet some people who aren't intellectual wastelands. I found two that seemed to be populated largely by people in their thirties. Professional, intelligent, etc. The only problem is that one doesn't meet until the third, and I'll be at sixth grade camp then. So, I'll just keep that one in mind. For some reason, I'm wary about the other.

I also found a writing group and a fanfiction group who all meet around here. The ff groups doesn't have an organizer and hasn't met in awhile, but I joined anyway, just in case.

I'm not ready to go back to school tomorrow. I think I need another day off.
