It's very annoying not to be able to use the links from the last batch.

Oh, and Monterey called today to see if I was still interested in a job up there. *head desk* The *only* school district/region that I'd regret not moving to/working for, and they *had* to call. Excuse me while I go sing "Santa Fe" from Newsies with the words "Monterey" instead and slit my wrists.

Hey, Monterey took a helluva lot longer to call you! Their loss. It's fate. Destiny. Kismet. Whatever. Plus, as pretty as it is around these parts- it's horribly expensive. It's like paying tax on the weather and scenery! I'm constantly weighing the merits of living where summers reach a blistering 84 degrees (on occasion), winters where coats remain optional, and paying rents that are just laughably astronomical (never mind the cost of purchasing a home); to somewhere that it'd be cheaper to live, but where you'd have to be a Desert Tortoise to really appreciate.

I like the blue box best. I think Clark would be drawn to it more as well, although for elegance and Lex... mmmmmmaybe the first one.

Well, not really. Most school districts haven't been hiring until now or even later. I just go lucky.

And I know all the good reasons they didn't call sooner, just really would have liked to move away. *sigh* But i"ve got the job I wanted, so I'm good. and happy.

Yeah, you're probably right about ABC. And, who knows. Maybe one day I'll finish a novel and make a million dollars and become a professional writer so I can move to Montery. :)

I've been toying with that top one to make it match the description in the chapter.
