serafina20My mom's subbing for three days in a first grade class. The teacher left 6 pages worth of plans for one day, explaining everything in great detail that doesn't actually say anything helpful. Then, in the middle of the plans, she left in great big bold caps DO NOT LEAVE PAPERS FOR ME TO GRADE. That's so annoying. It's not our job to grade papers; it even says so in the paperwork. I'll do it if a. I have time and b. if the teacher asks me if I could. Key word is *ask*. I don't like me or my mother being ordered around.
It just occured to me that I have Monday off. Yay! I could use the vacation. And then on Tuesday I have an interview or something with a temp agency for summer work.
And .... I think I've got it!!! How I'm going to do Shatteerd and Asylum in COTW.
Okay, I don't think the island happened. To help cure his liver thing, Lionel, working with Helen (probably) kidnapped Lex to run experiments on him. Lionel thinks that, dispite some evidence that Clark is the key, Lex is a better bet because a. he "owns" Lex and b. Lex is evidence of how blood mutates to adapt and heal weaknesses. Plus, Clark is off doing his Kal thing, thinking that Lex is dead because the bond's disrupted.
All the while during the experiments, Lionel is manipulating Lex's memories and sensory experience so that he thinks he's stranded on a desert island (possibly after marrying Helen; just came up with this this morning, so the details aren't worked out). Then, Morgan gets Kal (possibly is barebacked by Kal, am not sure) and they go to make the trade. Lex escapes (or is set free). Badness happens but our boys are reunited, each buying into Lionel's story (except for Lex marrying Helen; that won't work).
Then, Shattered happens because Lex's memories of what really happened beging surfacing. I think Clark will encourage lex to see a psychologist, not Lionel, but the results are the same. Couple with Lex finding out about Lionel killing his parents, Lionel has to erase his memory permanently.
As for Asylum .... I want to avoid ETC if I can, but, if I can't, I think I'm going to still have Clark break Lex out. He can't leave Lex at Lionel's mercy, even if the ETC was completed. I still think I might have to pull in another character (technically, not an OC, but ...)
I still don't know what to do with Damien or Dominic. I fear for both their lives right now, and I don't want to have to.

(Although most of the time I wound up going through the teacher's library, reading picture books I hadn't heard of, and making a list of books I needed to get for myself. I also kept a notebook full of ideas I got from other classrooms -- sometimes that kept me busy all day!)

Date: 2004-05-28 02:25 pm (UTC)a)Are the changes in Lex permanent? If I recall Lex is healthy because of Clark's sperm, if they are no longer together does Lex's immune system resents it? If so, Lex is of no use to Lionel.
b) If Clark and Morgan have intercourse, will Morgan become stronger/healthier like Lex? Or is Lex a special case because of the bonding and/or because he is Clark's mate? Or is it because of the Meteor exposure?
I hope you can find a way to avoid the marriage, I really don't see how this Lex would agree to it. As you know I am a coward when it comes to Lex's suffering, please, does it have to be ALL of the nightmare again?
If you decide on the whole nightmare, could you put a special warning? For cowards like me....

Date: 2004-05-28 03:31 pm (UTC)Yes, it's permanent. The allergies are gone, his lungs are stronger, and he's overall healthier. Not like on the show, though; Lex still has the ability to get sick, but it's not as life threatening anymore since his immune system has been boosted.

I'm so conflicted on this issue but for different reasons. The healing properties are in Clark's sperm, so they should work on anyone (i have a habit of changing things at the last minute, though). On the one hand, I'd love for Clark to top Morgan because Morgan's pretty heavily sick, and I'd love to see what he'd do if he suddenly ... wasn't (no one ever said anything about this issue in the Ent'ract; I *think* I was clear on what was wrong with Morgan, but I've gotten no feedback, so dont' know). On the other hand, I can't seem him allowing anyone to bareback him, so I don't see how it would happen.
I hope you can find a way to avoid the marriage, I really don't see how this Lex would agree to it.

I don't know how much of it will work in yet, you know? It's such a long way off to even get to half of this story. I'm still trying to write "Visage" which, I think, was aired almost exactly a year earlier than Asylum. So I've got a ways to go. ;P

Maybe it would provide the incentive for Morgan to make that krypto-string-of-beads that he had in the episode (which I wasn't ever sure how he figured out to have it, or what he really meant to do with it, since it was Lex he was supposed to be dealing with at that point, wasn't it?)

And you could make an argument that Kal woudln't have the same control issues with Morgan as he did with Lex in "Boiling Point," but for some reason, at this point, I'm not quite seeing how it'd happen. It's partly becuase, for whatever reason, I'm seeing Kal wanting to bottom (??), but ... well, it's goign to be awhile before I write it, and it could change.

Well, Clark used the kryptonite to weaken himself enough so he could draw blood for Morgan. Lionel probably warned Morgan than Clark might be along if Lex was in trouble, so Morgan had it made to protect him. But having a sexually agressive Kal would be interesting too.
I'll think on it.
