So, I was rereading old COTW's last night (specifically "Boiling Point", the Red fic) and I realized that, while I love the series, and like my take of things and everything, I really don't get why other people do. I mean, I sometimes don't get why anyone likes anything. I don't get how I can watch Smallville and see an entertaining and *good* show, even with it's flaws, and someone else can look and see a piece of crap. I don't get how I can look at Angel and see how it's not really good anymore, and other people think it's still as good if not better than when it started.

So, yeah. I understand more how people like "Lex Luthor, Ace Reporter" than COTW for some reason. Of course, right now, i'm very fond of the alternate meeting AU, so that might have something to do with it.

But, anyway. I'm done with the first draft of COTW 45. I need to heavily revise the first scene, but overall, I think I'm going to be happy with this.

Is anyone having trouble with the Piek Ric site? Someone e-mailed me and said they were having problems accessing it, but it's fine on my computer.

*licks your feet in abject worship*

CotW is an episodic soap opera for the mind, same as the show is, only you give us the characters' lives in words rather than visually. Why do people watch SV? Why do they watch Days of Our Lives or General Hospital? Why did they read Charles Dickens back in the day, who's stories came out in serial editions a chapter at a time (with a minimum word length needed to be reached before publishing, which is why Dickens is so wordy and sometimes pointlessly prosey)?

Alternate-meeting stories are fun, but CotW is an original universe of lives we follow with the same fervor as our favorite shows. That, and you write pretty dang well.

Yeah, hi. That was me emailing about your site. I still can't access it, but I found COTW archived at SSA, so I'm a happy chick.

Thanks.

I swear i was going to get back to you, but I wanted to see if tehre were other people having problems first. I had nothing to do with the creation of the site, but when I got more info, i was going to contact the people who made it for me.

I'm glad you found them at the SSA, though. If you ever need to have a reference for the order, you can go Here
