Question

Is anyone getting e-mails from me contaning and attachment and the subject heading, "Sorry, that's your mail"? Because I got one in my junk mail with my e-mail address, and I just got two people I don't know e-mailing me to ask what I tried to send them, so I'm confused. I don't think I have a virus, as I didn't open anything from anyone I didn't know, but i'll run virus scan anyone.

So I was wondering. Thanks.

Odds are one of the spammers is spoofing your email address. I've had it happen to me a couple of times in the last few days.

Just ride it out, delete suspicious e-mails, and don't open any attachments unless you're sure you know what they are.

And update your virus checker, if you haven't already. :)

I got one of those from you. I didn't open it, because, well, I really couldn't think of a reason you would be emailing me. The attachment was like 94kbs, so I just deleted the hell outta that sucker.

Yeah, it wasn't me. :) Someone on my contacts list just e-mailed me with a weird subject line and huge attachment, so I just deleted it too.
