I fucking hate subbing. I hate not having a job every day and knowing where I'm going to go. This sucks. And the thing is, I don't know whether to call the guy today and ask if there are any jobs Monday, or gamble again at playing the phone system. I *hate* this.

A few notes on Reporter!Lex:

There's a scene that I wrote that didn't get posted in which Lex tells Clark that he tried to commit suicide once. It'd happened a few months after Lionel died, and Lex hit rock bottom. Perry basically ripped him a new one, Lex felt bad for letting Perry down, and life went on. So when Lex keeps refering to his suicide, it's something that has been explained in the story, just not the version in my journal.

Back to pouting.

Thanks. I'm sure they will get better, I just really hate not working. A lot of my mood depends on how busy I am, and I feel better if I'm earning money when I can and doing something I enjoy and can't do without earning that money(I love to stay home and write, but I can do that evenings and weekends, so when I could be teaching, it's not as fun, you know?). Anyway, I should be getting work steady again soon. It just stinks not knowing where i'm going every day. *sigh*

Thanks so much for the hugs. :)

I'm glad to hear that things should be improving for you soon, I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you.

You're very welcome *one more hug for good measure* ;)

Ah, substitute teaching woes. I remember that. I did it for a year, it never got reliable. Best you could hope for is a long-term maternity leave. Other than that, my advise is to get up every day as if you *are* going to be subbing that day, dress, eat, etc, and then if you don't get a call, throw on your slop clothes and do chores, that way you don't feel like you've wasted your time getting up so early.
