I've posted Corner of the World 42: Wander Through the Vallye at the SSA. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] fabrisse, [livejournal.com profile] mlleelizabeth, and [livejournal.com profile] lady_alys for the terrific beta.

I'm trying to decide if I should post the next part of Reporter!Lex now or wait until the part after that is written. I have a feeling that posting what I have might torture a bit; it feels cliffhangerish to me. We'll see.

Saw Pete Pan again today. I love Jason Isaccs.

Go read and feedback the author! :P

Eeeeeeevil!! I've said it before but you are pure evil!! Argh!! I've already stayed up past my bedtime by an hour (yes, I know. Pathetic going to bed at 8:30 and being only 25) and have only made a teeny tiny dent in COTW 42. I'm gonna have to print it out in the morning. I want to read it NOW! but my eyes keep closing. :( I'm already all sad from the anguish our boys are going through.

Sorry. ;(

I'm gonna have to print it out in the morning.

Careful. It's loooong. It was 118 pages on my computer.

Sleep well. DOn't worry. Everything passes and life goes on.

I just finished reading it over dinner and I really enjoyed it. For some reason I love the way Lex and Clark are sorta fighting right now... I like the way you write their relationship.

Thanks! I"m glad you liked it. *bounces*

I like writing them as sort of fighting without there being any real danger of them breaking apart. It's a way to naturally uncover their insecurities so they can deal with them.

Thanks for the fb!

I want to marry Chloe. I keep telling myself that's ridiculous, but I swear I stopped reading halfway through and actually wrote that as an interim comment. Then I cancelled the post because I felt like a total dork (hello, fiction!). But it's true. I want to marry Chloe.

By the middle-end, I was actively wondering how the HELL Jonathan ever got so lucky.

Something I really appreciated was that the boys weren't so much in each other's heads this time. Dealing with so much emotion, that could have felt very invasive. I liked how free they were to cope individually.

And Clark putting the smack down on Helen?!? OMG, I almost fell out of my chair! Perfect. So perfect.

I want to marry Chloe.

Get in line. :P Kidding. I sometimes worry about my Chloe characterization. I try not to make her too perfect, but it's hard not to make her what I wish I could be, I guess. Same with Martha. Lana's a lot easier to work with just because her strenghts and weakness in the show 'fit' in COTW too, where a lot of Chloe's don't.

Looks. {eg}

Thanks for the fb!
