I feel stupid

I just noticed that X2 ends the same was The Wrath of Kahn ends: with the person who dies gallantly saving the crew getting to do the voice over that's (associated with the movie). Now, the voice over Jean does isn't as famous as "Space, the final frontier", but it was read at the beginning of X-Men, so I figure it goes.

And it only took 3 or 4 viewings to pick up on that.

hey yeah, that's right...............but she's not dead, is she? She comes back as Dark Phoenix, right?

meh. I don't know. I mean, I'd heard of Phoneix, but not Dark Phoenix, at least before the movie came out.

Besides. Spock wasn't exactly dead either, so the analogy still stands. Before you rise again, first you have to die ....
