Letter to the WB

serafina20I know this is probably *very* embarrassing for you, but you seem to have forgotten to show the last five minutes of last night's Smallville. I know this is a glaring and very odd oversight, but there is no way else to explain the stupidity of your ads. All we, you cautioned us, your loyal viewers, not to miss the last five minutes of Smallville while you showed us a shattering picture of Lex in a strait jacket, rocking back and forth in a padded room.
Now, obviously, Mr. or Mrs. WB-people, no self-respecting network would actually show the intense last five minutes of a show in the commercial. That would just be stupid. That would ruin the surprise of what was coming. And I know you, Mr. or Mrs. WB-people, are not stupid. After all, you did decide to give us not only this wonderful show, but shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel to name a few brilliant shows.
So, I respectfully submit that the *real* ending was missing. The ending in which Clark Kent burst through the walls of the asylum and rescued Lex Luthor, taking him off to Edge City to recover, regroup, and come out stronger and better than ever. I don't know how this oversight occurred, but I hope you replay the show soon so we all might see the long-waited for Last Five Minutes.

Someone said they promoted it like taht because the Lana/Clark breakup came in the last five minutes, but, unless you're brain dead, tghat's not really *shocking*. *shrugs* And even still, people have got to stop showing the ends of things in previews.
