The Good

Clark. Wonderful. TW did a very good job, I felt. He was pretty, pretty, and more pretty. My personal favorite pretty was the blue long sleeved shirt he was wearing when he first met Rugart Hauer. For some reason, this shirt please my sister and I to no end, probably because it was such an ordinary, normal shirt with a logo, and he's never worn one like that before. And I was very pleased to see the green Chinese symbol shirt was back. Very happy.

As for non-clothes issues: I like the fact the Red K was affecting him to the point where he needed to take it off. I really felt there was a difference between Red K Kal and Clark. I appreciated that he seemed to be mourning Lex (that's how I’m interpreting the look he had on his face in the elevator after the funeral, even if AlMiles meant it to be a look for Lana or home. It was for Lex). I don't know how he interpreted Martha and Jonathan's conversation in the barn to be about them not wanting him, but at least he made an effort to go home within the show in a believable way. Twice. I liked it.

Chloe. I like the fact that, although she's working for Lionel, she's still doing what she thinks is best for Clark. I don't know if I agree with her, but I understand this attitude of, "well, it's his life, he might do something worse if I try to help, and he doesn't want it anyway, so I'll keep my mouth shut." I wouldn't have, but that's me, not the girl on the show. I also like that she's not betraying him to Lionel, despite her promise. She's going to get fucked over very badly, but she'll do her best to stay true.

Lana. Oh, I'm sorry, am I still under good? My mistake.

No, seriously, she didn't bother me. She didn't *do* anything for me, but she was fine. She fulfilled her function and will soon pass into history. *crosses fingers*

Lex. It's nice to know that even his hallucinations are gay. Because otherwise, I'd be worried about consistency. ;) Seriously, it took me a little before I was sure Lewis was a hallucination. I can be slow. But they were very gay. I had something insightful to say about the whole killing his father thing last night, but it must have disappeared with the mind splitting headache.

Oh, and he was hot. Much squeeing in Serafina's bedroom last night. ;)

Martha. Such a mother. Broke my heart.

I'm intrigued by Lionel's reaction. I don't think he had anything to do with Lex's crash. At least, I don’t think I think he did.

THE BAD

Helen. What a fucking fuck-up of a perfectly good season (season 2, I mean). My idea that Dominic set the whole thing up made more sense than Helen since Dominic has been set up as an antagonist who would do anything to get the position he wants, while Helen had two episodes of "evil" development. I still can't buy it and I feel cheated. I hate it. Yes, in the end, it's easier for me to write around (and that's all that matters, eh?) but from a viewers standpoint, it's a wash for me.

Chloe's hair. Oh. My. God. What the hell happened? I loved it first season, and parts of second. Now I hate it. I'm beginning to think that, out of every character I've ever seen (even that metamophigi from HP5), Chloe's hair most represents here character:

Season 1: Spunky, flippy, cute, bouncy
Season 2: Jagged, harsher, more down to business (bitter)
Season 3: Flat, depressed, lost, controlled

Martha's hair: too red. Just too dark for me.

And

First off, let me get this out of the way: I hereby disavow any knowledge of having created, thought of, or otherwise written or entertained the thought of a character named "Eve". (Uh, don't ever read a Drag Queen fic I wrote called, "Hands and Hearts," btw, okay?). However, I had, at one point, jokingly thought about trying to audition for her. I wish I had because if it were me? Y'all wouldn't be screaming for Lilah to come back. (Okay, yes, you would, because Lilah was awesome, but I would have been a better Eve. She *was* my Mary ... Wait. No she wasn't)

Anyway, it's nice to see that Angel is finally out of the closet. There were 2 references to him being with men in this episode, and at least one in the next. I'm just going to assume there's a missing scene between him and Wesley that would have prompted that guy to call Angel a "little fairy." It was probably fairly graphic, too, damn the censors.

Uh ... Can't remember anything else I was going to say. I'm really tired and Back to School night took my brain, especially since my Master Teacher and I spent the last ten minutes before I left trying to fish her foot from her mouth. It's still there (she screwed up *so* incredibly badly, I'm still stunned).

Oh, and I was playing with my Smallville dolls, and Clark was kissing Lex's head (I'm tired! Don’t laugh) and I decided that I'll have him kiss the bump in the back, except I wasn't expecting there really to be a bump. And, you know what? There is. < eg >
