Ah, to be young again

Remember when you were a kid and you wanted something--like pizza for dinner--and you didn't think your parents would give it to you, so you made it sound like they'd already promised it?

"Mommy, are you going to order the pizza soon?"

"Daddy, are we leaving for Disneyland soon?"

Or you were sneaky, and pretended you wanted it for *them*?

"Mommy, look! A Skore bar! You like Skore bars!"

"Daddy! A ticket to Disneyland! You like Disneyland so much!" (God, i got so many trips ... okay, one trip to Disneyland on that).

Why doesn't it work anymore? I'm still cute, aren't I? I mean, I can't order a whole pizza for myself, and it's not the same if they're the little stupid pizza's. There's more sauce on them.

This is all Stephanie Plum's fault. She's already eaten like 2 pizza's in the book already. *sigh* Off to eat *chicken*

You're reading the ninth book? Is it as good? I bought it but haven't started yet. Need to finish OotP and Girls are Wierd first.

Yup, I just got it yesterday. And, except for Heart of Darkness, we have the exact same reading list, except I finished OoTP and Why Girls are Weird. ;)
