Teacher Brain strikes again

I have a bruise on my face. It's on my cheek and looks either like a smudge of dirt or like I tried to use makeup to create a shade and didn't blend well.

The problem is, I don't remember how I got it.

What I do remember is, sometime last night, thinking, "That's going to leave a mark." But I don't remember what I did that made me think that. It's so frustrating.

Also, I forgot the word "contentious" earlier today.
