My eyes are killing me

I was cooking dinner earlier and my stove (electric) started emitting this noxious smell. I had to opened everything, turn on fans, and it's still lingering over an hour later. My eyes were watering so badly. They still hurt.

My mom had the bright idea to have me look underneath the stove. I did, and found a cat plate so old, I don't want to speculate how long it's been there. And then, after I got that out, I saw what I think might be a (dead) mouse.

Of course, that was an hour ago, and now I keep thinking maybe I didn't see it right, so I want to look again. Except, I really, really don't.

So, yeah. First thing tomorrow, I'm calling the manager and asking them to see what's going on.
