Today I went to be a silent witness at the "Yes on 8" parade. I was, of course, no on 8 (8 takes away the right for same sex couples to marry). It was... hard. There were a lot of us, which was heartening, but there were more of them. And they were shouting and "blessing" us and it was just... disheartening.
Anyway. If anyone's interested, if you donate money to No on Prop 8 (mostly so we can air ads) it's automatically matched until midnight tonight. Site is
here.
After, I went to Borders. Cute coffee guy I want to jump wasn't there. :( I did, however, finish another chapter of my novel. I totally didn't expect this chapter to be so emotionally hard, but Kali went through a lot and it hit me. I was shaking when I finished it. I think it was a combination of everything, but still. It took my by surprise.
I'm so tired.
Tomorrow I go to a school in another district to see why their test scores are higher than mine.
