My cat's a genius.

Last night, I let her out in the front yard. I have to keep the door open for that, since we don't have a screen door. Usually, she spends time outside, comes back in for some food, goes back out all night until I close the door and ignore her pleas.

Last night, she comes in and gets food. Then, after cleaning herself, she went to the door and sat looking at it for a few seconds. And then, she got on her hind legs, front paws against the door and pushed it shut before walking away. She didn't once express interest in going out front the rest of the night.

Genius.
