That writing meme thing

I'm not all that accepting of anon criticism. I only find crit. valid if I find the source valid. For example, there was a guy this weekend at the con who had a lot of opinions about everything. By the time he got to me, I already knew I didn't think his judgment all that valid (although, by the second day, he got more concise). When he told me that my premise was implausible because "vampires cannot be reincarnated", I was able to just smile and nodd and laugh hysterically internally (I mean, seriously, are we going to debate that? Really? *That's* what you find unrealistic?)

Besides, my ego has taken enough hits over the past few weeks. I'm not "nice", I'm not "professional" and I'm not "Christian." I don't need to be told from Annie anon that I'm a crap writer who makes everyone and everything gay. I'm not that unaware of my own writing.

However, if anyone wants to drop a comment of something that you really do think can be improved on my writing, or just want to tell me what you do like about it (I find that being told specifically what's good can be just as helpful as what needs work), go ahead and drop a comment. Please?

I just reread "The Courtship of Harry Potter." I like that fic. And even though I'm in a Harry Potter mood, I just found out that new parts have been added to the "Force Bond" fics I've already read. That's a good excuse to read more about Daddy!Vader and Luke.

Cause, you know. It's not like I have either work or writing of my own to worry about. :)

You know, I almost have enough COTW icons to post the main character or couple in each scene. Although, I don't have a Chloe/Lana COTW icon. Or a Martha/Jonathan. Not that I can get many more icons; I've almsot reached 100. Go me.
