I'm dreaming my life away

I watched most of The Astronaut's Wife last night. It wasn't ... very okay. First, I got all distracted in the first ten or so minutes because Johnny Depp seemed to be doing some sort of Val Kilmer impression. Then I got all distracted because Charlize Therone looked like she was auditioning for Rosemary's Baby. Then I spent the rest of the movie complaining that they should have just remade Rosemary's Baby because I loved the book but don't like the movie all that much. Then I tried to explain what was going on to my dad, even though I didn't quite get it. And then I was excited because the kid who played Ben in Friend's was in it, and then the movie was over. I give it ... one star. Maybe it would have gotten more had my parents not been in the room while Johnny was talking dirty, but since he was ... one star.

Saw Stepford Wives today. I enjoyed it, but I want to see the original now to compare. I just need to get ahold of a copy.
