I saw Season 2 was a perfectly good season in October. Why? No, really, why? It was an okay season. Worse than okay at times. But perfectly good? No.

1. AUs: yes please or what's the point?

I love well done AU's. To a point. There are some I just can't get behind because I don’t understand then need, but over all, it's why I read fanfic. I like to see alternate possibilities and how things would have turned out if B happened instead of A.

2. What's the best AU you've read?

There are so many, how to I choose? Lazarus Gap was great; Family, Friendship, and Love; Schmoop (Clark/Whitney); HHJ's new AU ... There's too many.

3. What's the worst AU you've read?

There's this one in a zine I bought that was a horrible trainwreck. I only read it because a. I'd paid money for the zine and, damn it! I was going to get my money's worth (I didn't it was a horrible zine except for a few fics by HHJ) and b. it was *so* bad, I couldn't look away.

4. How would you like to see your fandom altered that you haven't seen yet?

Wha? There are so many possibilities, and so many things that have been done, I'll have to leave it to those more creative than I do dream it.

5. What AU worked that you never would have expected?

*snerk* Pirate. I excepted that to fail and die painfully. Can't think of any other's right now. SV is an open forum. Can't think of anything in any other fandom, either. Will continue thinking.

More thoughts on the Pilot Episode

I love how Nell says tulips are simple flowers (did she say for simple people? Anyway) and then those are the flowers Lex orders for Victoria. Was he trying to tell her something? (I like tulips, though, so I don't know what that says about me.;)

I fucking *love* how Lana's parents don't move. They just stand there and stare. Love, love, *love* it.

I also love how, on the commentary, Almiles assure us that the little girl didn't actually see the people get crushed because it was filmed in two different towns. So ... you did kill people, but you didn't let the little girl see it. Great.

Little!Lex is so beautiful, it breaks my heart. Baby!Clark is adorable, too. But he's not 3. He's 6. Maybe older. And how did he fit in the ship? Not the old one, the new one. That holding space was only a little bit bigger than a baby. I don't see a 3/6 year old fitting in it. So, I'm right with you, Bo; I don't believe Clark was ever that small either.

They're all so *young*. Even Lex. So young.

Pete's so cute! And look! He's not pushing any products.

Chloe's office looks a lot like a computer lab. And that, friends, is the only bit of reality I've seen on this episode so far.

I hate Lana's baby voice, and I'm glad she doesnt talk like that anymore.

I'd never seen Clark faint after rescusing Lex before. I must have looked away the while watching the DVD.
