Update

I am very proud of myself yesterday. I actually went out of my way to tell this gorgeous girl at work that she looked pretty. Well, it came out, "You look really nice today," which wasn't true, because she looked f-ing hot, but she still seemed to appreciate it. The point, of course, is that I got off my ass and actually *did* it, which is something I have a hard time doing. I was probably able to do it because there was no pressure. I don't like her, I wouldn't want to be with her (I'd worship her, forsaking my personality; she's that type of woman) and, in two weeks, I will probably never see her again.

Anyway. I'm enjoying my wrapping job more now that things are picking up. People buy fragrance, they bring it to my table, I wrap it, they leave. I don't get tips, sadly. The girls working on Wednesday apparently got a ton of tips, which they weren't allowed to do, but they didn't know. I got one tip the first day, which I took and hid since, even though I hadn't been told I couldn't, I figured it was taboo. These girls left it on the table and then got yelled at. On the one hand, smart to leave the tips out, because it encourages others to leave, but, on the other, dumb for not using common sense and 'knowing' it wasn't allowed. Oh, wait; common sense. How silly of me to think they might have it.

Wow. I so did not intend for this entry to turn out like this. Must me the PMS.
