1. Top three episodes of S2:
Red, Heat, and Insurgence/Prodigal (I can't choose three, I guess)
2. Best Lex scene of S2:
Either him blatantly drooling over Clark in Red, or the scene in Prodigal where he's mucking out the stalls. He's so happy!
3. Best Clark scene of S2:
Arg. I can't choose best. ... Red. Telling Lex he was leaving.
4. Has Helen been evil all along?:
I don't know. I didn't think so, but after reading everyone's theories, I'm not as certain.
5. Has Chloe gone to the dark side?
No. She's trying to take advantage of her break with Clark to further her own career, meanwhile never giving Lionel what he really wants.
6. Best minor character of S2:
Lucas or Emily.
7. Moment in S2 most likely to drive you screaming from the show, never to return:
Lex's speech to Helen in the hospital. The fact that Lana's life got more and more tragic every single episode.
8. Slashiest scene of S2:
Redux when Lex dropped Clark off at school. Closely followed by the scene with Clark and Lex and their adopted son, Ryan.
9. What would you change about S2?
Shoddy writing of the Lex/Helen relationship. Chloe being a whiney, spineless wimp. Lana getting more and more pathetic every episode. Whitney dying (totally unnecessary). Martha's pregnancy (shouldn't have happened if they were just going to kill it off), more Lex and more Lionel.
10. Biggest hope for S3:
More Lex. More of Clark and Lex's friendship (I still maintain they can be [or think they are] friends and not be *fully* aligned. Lana growing up and taking control of her life (which may or may not mean less of her). More Lionel. More Chloe acting strong. Better lines for Pete. Jonathan Kent finally acting like the moral compass he's supposed to be.
Oh. And lots and lots of hot boy on boy action.
In other news, I was writing the next part of COTW, and wondering how the hell it's already 40+ pages and I *still* haven't gotten halfway done. And then I realized it's because there's a huge Lana/Chloe plot that came out of nowhere that's practically taking up the whole fic. So now I have to decided, do I
A. Take the Chloe and Lana parts out and make it Interlude 5.
B. Break the fic into two parts, or
C. Keep it as one, long-ass piece.
The problem with A. is the Lana/Chloe parts interweave very well with the Clark/Lex parts. I'd have to go back and do a lot of filling in, unless I include a good chunk of the Clark/Lex plot into the Interlude, and then use that as a spring board for COTW 39. The only problem is, not everyone reads the Interludes. Well ... I'll work it out. No need to go into it right now.

Date: 2003-06-02 01:17 pm (UTC)They don't like femslash, or aren't particuarly interested in the pairing. *shurgs* I understand, to a point, but it still hurts as an author. ;)
More is coming very, very slowly.
