SERA STILL ANGRY

I've lived in my apartment for ... five years? Four years? Anyway, since I moved here, I've only had one place to sit: my recliner. I got rid of my loveseat because I never sat on it and brycee was always peeing on it.

I finally decided that I need a couch. Luckily, a coworker wanted to get rid of the one she and her boyfriend had inherited from the local college. It's not much to look at, and only moderately comfortable, but it's another place to sit.

I've had it for a little over 24 hours. Brycee's already peed on it. I stopped her once yesterday, but I missed it today. She only does it when I'm in the room. At least, I think she only does it then.

I'm thinking of skinning her alive. Any other suggestions?

Get her a diaper? Or they make mats to put on you furniture that keeps the animals off, it'd be a hassle to put there & move every time you want to use it but it might keep her off it so she doesn't pee on it.

I ended up getting a spray that's supposed to keep her from wanting to mark it. We'll see if it works.

Have you tried one of the cat repellent sprays? I have no idea what it would be called in the US, it smells like lemon. Cats apparantly don't like citrus scents. I have friends who've had success with it.

The one I got doesn't smell like lemon, but, so far, it seems to be working. I hope it continues to, although the smell kind of bugs me. Thanks.
