I'm reading this Sentinel fic that's in my fav series. I didn't even know that this fic was there because it wasn't in the recc sight I originally found the series on. So I'm all excited because a) more fic! and b) Interent at work again, right?

And then in the fic, Jim gets sick. Hospital sick. And suddenly, in my mind, Jim isn't Jim anymore. My dad's taken his visual place in my head. So I'm quitely freaking out when my supervisor decides to a) interrogate me about "American Idol" (I'm the only one in the office who doesn't watch it) and b) tell me what a crappy show Smallville is. I hate it when people do that becuase she knows I like.

I got all upset and it wasn't until I came back from my walk I made the connection between the fic and my overreaction. *sigh* nerurosis are so much fun.

It's by Dasha; the series isn't named, but the one I was talking about was "On the Way Home," but that's the last fic. It's at the archive site you sent me the link to if you wanted to read it. Just type her name in the search engine and all the fics pop up.
