Cobbler has a new friend that he's hanging out with. I've named the cat Stormy because a) he's grey and b) he showed up the day after the Doctor Who episode with Stormageddon, Dark Lord of all. He's a very friendly cat, very beautiful, and lives in the apartment round the corner.
Lately, when Cobbler's spent the day outside, he and Stormy come running up together to greet me. One day, I saw Stormy run up to Cobbler and put his arms around Cobblers shoulders. They chase each other, play, and it's all very, very cute.
To me, it's obvious that, when I come home, they want to go inside and snuggle together. Stormy follows Cobbler and me to my door and he starts inside when I open it.
But, there stands Brycee, guardian of the house. She stands on the other side, hissing and growling. A couple of times, I manage to get her away so Stormy can come inside, but the mood is lost by then and, after exploring and using every scratch pad in the house, Stormy takes off.
Poor Cobbler. If he didn't have such a mean older sister, he and his buddy could cuddle.
Also, yesterday, I was petting Cobbler's back. He was doing that thing where his head was low and his butt was in the air. Brycee came over and... not exactly bit him, but put her mouth over his neck and head and held on.
