Random Musings
Dec. 20th, 2002 10:05 amIf you fall in love with your clone, is it narcissism? And what is it if you have sex with your clone? And, God, I really don't want to read that because, while I really, really like Shinzon, and I thought at times he was cute and boyish and oh so facinated with Picard, but squick!!!! And yet, last night as I watched the movie again, I kept thinking about how I could totally see it happening.
But not as much as Data and Picard slash. They are so fricking in love in that movie, there are practically little hearts and flowers floating in the air when they look at each other. I think they might even be married. And that's what makes everything worse. *sigh*
I'm still struggling along with COTW 31. I'm hitting a lot of road blocks and, ya know what? It's all Dominic and Damien's fault. Maybe I should kill off Damien... Naw.
I found Wormtongue in LOTR strangely... hmmm. I don't quite know the word for it. Not attractive, exactly. Not even sexy in the way men who aren't good looking can be sexy. But he drew me. I have no idea why. Maybe because, for once, we have a toady that isn't a mindless, simpering idiot. Which is nice, because it rarely happens. I was surprised, espeically since he's a lackey once removed (Sauraman is Sarons lackey, and Wormtail works for Sauram and I'm just glad i actually know all the names this year). I don't know when I'll see the movie again. I think I liked it better than the first one, but I'm not in a hurry to go back. My friend wanted to see it last night because she had a free ticket, but I was all set to see Nemisis again. And again, if possible. My only real gripe with the movie is they never mentioned Lore, which ya think they woulda once. Just one time. But no; it was very much a: lets pretend he didn't exist. Which made me very sad, because, after Q, Lore is my favorite guest villain.
Work is going to be nothing today. I looks like i'll be there for an hour, then go to lunch with everyone, and then go home. Which is why I don't really want to go to work, because what's the point of working for an hour?
