Adam used AC current to electrify the salsa, and while he created a lot of sparks and smoke, he was unable to dissolve the bars at all. Jamie, on the other hand, pulled a circuit board from a transistor radio that could convert electricity to DC current, and fed the electricity through the salsa. Slowly but surely, Jamie dissolved the iron bars down to only a few millimeters.
