Plot structure
Nov. 19th, 2009 07:40 pmTomorrow,I'm going to teach plot structure to my students using that inverted V or W thing. I haven't used it for years, but the kids never remember to put a climax in their stories and I thought it might help.
I used "Mulan" and "Miss Rumphis" as examples (also Clifford, but that one is just "Clifford is a big red dog. Clifford gets in trouble for being a big red dog. OH NO! KIDS ARE DYING. Clifford saves them by being a big red dog. Clifford gets treats).
Then I started thinking how other stuff would fit in. So, here are my simplified versions of Harry Potter, Smallville (circa s1) and Heroes.
