Torchwood thoughts

I thought it was a really good episode. I mean, you have to ignore the fact that Jack would have been batshit insane by the time he was dug up. I know he's a hero, but he's also human and, dude; I just don't buy we have the capacity to entertain ourselves for thousands of years while being smothered to death continuously.
I would have liked to see Jack panic more at being tied up and John want to know why. But, time and all. I get it.
As bummed as I am about Tosh and Owen, I do appreciate that their deaths were basically the last 10 minutes. We knew the day was saved and were allowed to focus on these two brilliant characters. I'm going to miss them so much (although I bet Owen will be back somehow)
Random: while I was trying to sleep the other night, I was thinking about Star Wars. I thought about how in RotS, Padme is all, "You're breaking my heart" and how it's such a lame line and there's no way it could ever sound not insanely stupid.
Tosh totally proved me wrong. The line fit perfectly there and was lovely. So, kudos for proving me wrong.
Also: Andy and Rhys should get together. Or, at least, become a tirad with Gwen.
Gwen was awesome in her take-charge way.
I love the end where Jack, Gwen, and Ianto were together, grieving. Just... Gwen clinging to Jack and Ianto completely stiff, trying to hold it together. Perfect.
*sigh*
Bloody Torchwood.
Now, is Doctor Who starting?
