I was a little surprised Michael told Alex who did it to him. I thought he might be too concerned for Alex knowing that he'd be gunning for revenge. Then again, Michael was pretty zoned out on the medication so he obviously wasn't thinking too far ahead.
I just hope he doesn't regret telling Alex who was responsible. Mind you, Alex would have found out one way or the other. This is some heavy stuff, well done. Oh and Happy Belated Birthday by the way!
