Wow

This commercial is just so... grandiose. It's almost embarrassing it's so over the top. It doesn't even feel like the dude selling is earnest, just... condesending. And, really? It's "almost miraculous"? I had a view-finger that could do the same thing.

And yet... I kind of want one. And I'm not religious.

John Adams

I just finished the first disc of John Adams (present from the folks for my b-day). It's very strange: there has not been one song sung. Not one. At all. Not even once they got to Philadelphia and started to debate independence. I'm beginning to doubt the historical accuracy of this film.

More seriously, anyone know why they opted to cast Jefferson so old? He's older than Giamatti. I know the character gets older as time goes on, it's just... he's so old. Isn't he supposed to be 33? (And, by old, I mean... so obviously not in his thirties).
