Ah well...
Apr. 17th, 2008 05:01 pmSo, it's too bad the CA primary is done, because I know who I need to vote for now. See, I do a lot of mnemonic teaching through songs, and I have a whole book of prewritten ones ('cause I'm strangely not good at writing little chanty things). Today, I found the one of the US Presidents (set to... um.... I think "Do You Know the Muffin Man").
Anyway, I'm thinking of having the kids sing it (we do something patriotic instead of the pledge; currently, we're reciting the preamble) next week in the morning, so I was reading it to see how up-to-date it is (the only other pres song I have is the Anamaniacs song, which ends with Clinton)
In the second to last line, the last two words are "Bush's son"...
Which is why I now know who I'm voting for. Because I'm lazy. :)
