No more Prison Break Magazine. :( But how will I get my pretty picture, quick access to tattoo pics, and random articles about... stuff.

*sigh*

Anyway.

I know I talk about ideas getting stolen from me a lot, but I do realize that it's usually either me guessing/extrapolating a likely direction for canon to go, and then it happen on the show, pure wtf-ness (because, seriously; of all the demons to choose for your taking over the world/heaven, Kripke *had* to take the obscure maybe-demon [because, remember; some theologins think that Azazel actually refers to a place in the desert] I'd already used in a similar story) or great minds.

This latest, one, is just... creepy.

Back when Gargoyles was on, I had a Mary Sue *pauses for gasps of shock*. Her name was... Katie, I think. She was the secret daughter of Tatiana and Oberon (well; Tatiana knew of her existence; Oberon hadn't even realized he'd slept with Tatiana at the time). Tatiana had abandoned Katie in New York where, years later, Puck discovers her. He takes care of Katie, gives her a magic necklace, and eventually falls in love with her. Oberon discovers her existence and she goes back to Avalon, mostly to protect Puck.

Today, I found a book called "The Fairy Path." In it, the main character, Anita, is the long lost daughter or Tatiana and Oberon (according to the back). A mysterious boy, Evan, comes into her life and they quickly fall in love. He gives her a necklace. She'll eventually goes to the Fairy Kingdom.

I know it's not exact, and I have no idea if Evan is really Puck or anything, but the minute she got the necklace, I started freaking out. It's just weird.

Of course, most teen books are rather formulaic, and I was a teen when I wrote the other one, so...

*headdesk*

I think I'm going to start a tag called WTF Warnings.

Today's is:

"Slight oral sex"

Is it weird to say that the heroine of "Northanger Abbey" (the character, Catherine, not the actress)reminds me of myself? At least the way she's portrayed in the movie. I never finished the book (and am not sure I have it here, meaning another trip to the bookstore).

Anyway. Yeah. I think I identify with her even moreso than Lizzy Bennet.
