All grown up

I apparently now own my car. My parents signed it over to me and stuff.

I'm a grown-up now.

I'm not quite sure what to say about POTC2. I already wrote fic for it. I was thinking about it yesterday, and now I have definite shortcomings as a fanfic writer. Once I pick a characterization and a universe and a view on events, I kind of get stuck in it and don't deviate from it. Hence COTW and very little other Smallville stories. I just can't get out of the headspace of that universe. And I'm having the same problem with Pirates. I've written two Sparrington fics. I like building on that universe. The problem is, as it stands, I can't exactly write anymore until the final movie comes out, unless I want to speculate as to how things will end in the second and write futurefics.

I wish I could just write a new version. However, I am rather fond of 'verse. And, God knows, I really don't need to write any other fics right now, right?
