SV Crossover Rec
Mar. 26th, 2005 10:22 amThe Things I Cannot Change by DarkEmerald. It's a SV/Firefly crossover with Lex/Simon pairing. I was about a quarter of the way through the fic before I realized that, but I've never watched Firefly and didn't know anyone's names. So I think I can be forgiven. But it's such a great fic, i couldn't stop reading.
It starts during/after the S3 closer. Lex goes to the caves after he gets out of the hospital, and Jor-El transports him five hundred years into the future. The Firefly crew finds him, and Lex must build a life in a strange new world. It's really great.
It almost makes me want to watch Firefly now. The only problem is, the voice I heard in my head for Simon? Probably not his real voice, and I don't know if I want to know what the real voice sounds like. And, strangely, it's also the voice I hear when I read Wesley fic, which brought on a strange urge to find Lex/Wesley fanfic.
I need help.
Anyway, read and feed the author.
