Oct. 27th, 2004 06:39 amTwo days of yoga class, and I'm never going to move again. At least not my arms. Dear, Lord, yesterday was *so hard*. It wasn't as soothing or medative as the first class, and I went in with a headache and arms hurting, so I cam out with more pain. Good pain, but still.
It's a good thing I'm already taking tonight off. The Level 1 class is at 6, so I'd get out in time for SV and Lost, but why take that chance? :P
I liked the teacher though. She was a little more intense than Monday's teacher, but she was also more hands-on. After we were in a pose, she'd walk around and help us adjust so we were more fully in it, or held our hands better or whatever. She didn't push or anything, just adjusted. And you know I'm a sucker for being touched by a pretty girl. And, no, I did not purposefully not get into the pose right so she'd come over to correct me. Although the thought did cross my mind.
She's a massage therapist, too. If I wanted, I could make an appointment through the studio to get a massage. I really need one, and she's really not intimidating or anything. I think I could relax enough around her. I might look into it when my credit cards are under control.
My best friend is interviewing for a job that will pay enough so we can move out together. Cross your fingers so she'll get it.
I'm almost done revising the second draft for COTW. It turns out I didn't need the audience I thought I would, but if you still would like a sneek preview, drop a comment and I'll send it along.
