Jul. 14th, 2004 04:08 pmYou're writing an OC or even an original piece of fiction. How do you come up with character names? How often do you choose a name that means something? What process do you go through to create a character, or do they create themselves?
Okay, so I call any Lex who is younger than a teenager Baby!Lex.
Anway, when I first watched Extinction and Lex asked Lionel if he'd ever been sick as a child, I was certain he had leukemia or some sort of tumor. Of course, that was fed by my own fics and thoughts, but when it was revealed that Lionel has a rare liver disease, I forgot to connect it back: Lex had the same disease, didn't he? Did they ever reveal if it was a genetic thing or common for running in families, or is it just a good plot idea?
And I can't believe I looked away when Lex told Lionel that he must have inherited good genes.
Edited because the idea of Lex wearing Lionel's good jeans frightens me.
