La la la la la
Dec. 5th, 2003 09:15 pmJoan of Arcadia was not my favorite episode tonight. Not enough Joan, not enough Grace, and not enough God. But when I saw next weeks episode, I got all squeally. It's Chad! Sort of. And that'll make more sense after COTW 41 gets posted, but Goth!God is making me happy tonight. :)
So. This morning it occured to me that after next week, there's only one more week until Christmas vacation. And one of the days I can't sub because I've got an interview, and the other isn't very certain. Which means I won't be making any money until January, and that just won't do. So, I decided to see if anyone was still hiring even though I can't work until after the 13th.
So, I pulled on my sandals, put on a headband, and went to the mall. Honestly, if I'd known they'd interview me right there, I would have put on shoes and lipstick. Not that it mattered, since I got hired, but still. I'm going to be working gift wrapping at Robinson's May for 60 hours at $7.50 an hour. No, not exactly what a college graduate should be ascribing too, but it's about $450 I wouldn't have had otherwise. Which means winter session classes are paid off now. :) And, I still might be able to get a sub job on the Tuesday and Wednesday I'm not wrapping presents which, depending on the district, is 95 or 100 something.
Money!!!
Ahem. I"m trying to write. Really.
