I read my own fic a lot. I print it out and read it before I go to bed, because if Ambien eats what I read, at least I remember the plot. I'm currently out of ink.

Just pointing out that the Kindle is for whatever you can manage to use it for. :) I use mine to read fic on-line, because the couch is more comphy than the computer chair.

I use my nook every night to read and usually it's fanfiction. I see that being a very valid use of it!

I know it is. I think it's a combination of feeling guilty for liking my own fic (just imagine!) and feeling like I should back away from fanfic. Not that there's not tons of other stuff on the Kindle. I need to stop judging myself so harshly.

It's nicer than having to print everything out and then having paper all over the place. Plus, fanfiction tends to be better written.

I should stop calling it absuse. :)
