What is wrong with me?
I am still so tired from yesterday! I napped most of the day, got a brief burst of energy so I could go to the store and get food and stuff, ate, and now I'm exhausted again.
I'm afraid I may not be able to do this. How can a sixty year old man have the energy to do this and not me? It's not fair.
Now I'm getting depressed.

11 1/2 hours at the Marine Mammal Center. Well. Not at. First, I did the four and a half our transport. Then, I came back and sat around. Then, I helped unload some sea lions and fill out paperwork and start to help give them IVs. But, then, we got called to rescue a couple sea lions. This took a half hour to do and an hour to drive back. Then fill out paperwork. And stuff.
I'm tired.
But. I named a cute little sea lion Castiel, so it wasn't a wasted day. :)

Also, HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT IS THE SCARIEST FUCKING SEAL I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!
Yesterday, I drove an elephant seal and sea lion up to the main center. The elli kept putting her nose against the cage to look at the sea lion. It was so cute! And elli's don't humanize, so we could go up to it and go, "Ah! Who's a pretty girl? Who's a pretty girl? Who's a good seal? Is you a good seal?"

I've made a decision
I'm no longer going to go out on rescues for sea lions anymore. I'll take calls, fill out paperwork, grind fishmash, do transports (maybe), and clean pens. But I am not, not, going to rescue, wrangle, tube, breath on, or touch any other sea lion. Every. Sea Lion. I've EVER rescued has died.
I'm like the Grim Reaper of sea lions. And they know it. Last time I was sent into a cage to wrap one up for feeding, it growled at me for no reason. Just took one look and started inching away, growling and looking pathetic. He'd obviously heard about me.
So, yeah. No more. I refuse to have that sort of weight on my head.

I have a bad feeling that Rorschach the sea lion didn't make it. He hasn't shown up on the main website yet. Megatron did, but not Rorschach. I hope they just released him from MB Ops.
