You know what?

You know this gif from the blooper reel:

Avengers-blooper-Thor-drops-hammer

What I find hypnotizing about it is not that Hemsworth dropped the hammer (because I've dropped pencils in much the same way... only, quite often, I've been holding them for a few minutes), but the fact that Evans appears to have caught the shield on his arm and transferred it to the other one in such a smooth movement. I suspect it's been doctored, but then you've got Hemsworth, so.....

Now I'm sitting her all mad that "they" want to make me buy a fucking Blu-ray in order to enjoy the extras, so I think I won't buy one. Fuck the man.

Ditto, because seriously, you'd think of the two, the Shield is the hardest thing to grab hold of.

They use magnets on the shield and on the arm part of the suit. The shield's "straps" are basically just latching on.

That makes so much sense! Although, I'm still impressed because a) that's awesome and b) he looks like he's dancing. And he's pretty.

Thanks for the info!

I havent seen this bloper before. I'm amazed cuz when ever i see this scene i always thought it was a reversed filming where Chris & Chris (hehe i like that) threw the hammer & shield then they played it backwards to look like they catched them. there's just something about the way Chris catches the shield that doesn't look quite right. Maybe its cuz of the magnets.
