Oh, people

Yeah, telling Captain America that DADT has been repealed in the same sentence as explaining that being gay is okay now is really going to mean a lot to him. Especially when you use the acronym.

LOL! That's one author who didn't think things through. It has potential to be a great scene, though. With Cap not getting it and becomming more and more confused why it wasn't ok to be happy before...

Steve being happy he got the flying monkey reference was one of my favorite scenes in the movie. :)

Except for that one part, it was a really good fic all over. But Steve's response was, "I didn't know that last one," and I was all, "Buhu?" I think some people don't realize that DADT wasn't actually a thing until Clinton.
