So

Should I apply to the Dolphin Research Center in the Florida Keys as an Educational Program Host and Animal Care & Training Food/Prep Handler? (Sea World doesn't appear to be hiring. And I bet I could get my two years experience working as an educator and get to move up to an animal care and training trainer).

Yeah, I think I should. I don't know the weather or whatever, and I'd be away from my family, but... DOLPHINS!

Oh, man. You have to. Seriously, *dolphins.*

That's my entire arguement, but I think you'll find it's a compelling one.

Oh why not...DOLPHINS...That would be cool job.

YES!! Not just because I want to visit you and see the dolphins myself, either.

Someone in SGA fandom whose name I could dredge up if you're interested has a job like that ... or used to have one ... she wrote a story where John & Rodney are working at an aquarium, in any event. Should I try to track down who it is?

Ummm...you might want to look at how many times the Keys is evacuated for hurricanes...it is one really long bridge out there!

Wooo man that sounds like a cool job :D

OK, I know nothing of these things in America, but I was an office worker in an aquarium in the UK so ... my twopennorth is that I'd read the job title as 'person who gives the talks to the public and deals with their questions, scrubs tanks and floors, and chops up a lot of dead fish'. It's a hard and smelly job. But on the other hand, even *as* office staff I found my work there very fulfilling, there's nothing like worrying about invoices and baby octopus at the same time!

I love dolphins. I used to want tobe a trainer/marine biologist. Sadly, the whole science part stopped me. But this would be fun.
