Cultural literacy

Most of my class has never seen "The Wizard of Oz". One kid had no idea who the Tin Man or the Lion were, not to mention Oz. I was thinking about showing it to them tomorrow because I want them to see it and because I don'twant to teach, at least after lunch.

The problem is, I don't have id on tape (or DVD). And the library don't either.

Random and SV stuff

Today, I was ordered out of House fandom for trying to use logic. Sadly, the post was deleted before I could respond. This makes me sad.

Also, besides Clark and Lex, today, I think we are all woobies. We are the woobiest woobies ever, next to Clark and Lex who are the King and Queen of Woobiness.

And SV is now so AU, that it's almost unrecognizable to COTW canon now. I don't know what I'm going to do with those darn writers. What do they think they're doing messing with my story like that? Sheesh.
