Well... fuck

I finished gluing the leaves onto the Poison Ivy costume and now I can't get it on. So, either I gained a bunch of weight or I fucked up. I'm going with the latter.

With any luck, I'll be able to get the leaves off. Otherwise, I'll have to get another leotard and start again.

Doubt it's weight

I think maybe with the glue the material just can't become as stretchy as it was, everything is just binded together. Maybe you could try stuffing the next leotard to stretch it before u glue it?

Yeah, I've read similar things before regarding costuming. If you can't get a sewing dummy or something to put the leotard on, then stuffing it might work the best. I think it's definitely the glue.

*nods* I agree, I think it's the glue might be preventing the material from stretching the way it should.

As an alternative, you could maybe tack the leaves on with needle and thread.

Oh, I know it's not the weight. I'll maybe try stuffing next time; good advice!

I could try wearing it and gluing at the same time, but I have a feeling that wouldn't be very practical. :) I'll get something to stuff it with.

Between how many leaves I have to put on and how small my patience is, I don't think sewing it will work for me. But, we'll see.

Thanks.
